SHIPPING

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products are not able to be shipped to international destinations. We ship from Lincolnshire, IL.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Most orders will ship US Post Office.  Some orders will ship via UPS depending on the weight and/or product.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. 

We understand how important it is for you to get your items quickly, so we make every effort to ship your order as soon as possible. In most cases, your order will ship out within 24 hours.  Generally, orders placed after 12pm CT on Friday will ship on Monday or the following business day if the Monday falls on a national holiday.

Please note that during unusually high volume periods, such as the month prior to the winter holidays, we may take an extra day or two to ship orders, and the U.S. Post Office may take longer than usual to deliver packages, even via Priority.  Please keep this in mind when placing your order.

You will receive an email notification when your order has been shipped. You may also check the status of your order by signing into your account and selecting either order status on the top or view order status.

Minor Details Beads will be closed on the following national holidays:

  • New Year's Day

  • Memorial Day

  • Independence Day

  • Labor Day

  • Thanksgiving

  • Christmas Day

Orders that would normally be processed on these days will be processed the following business day.  Orders already in transit during these and other post office holidays may be delayed depending on the carrier.

In addition to the Holidays above, the US Post Office is closed for the following Holidays: Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday, Presidents' Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day.

RETURNS POLICY

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund (excluding shipping paid). 
The customer is responsible for all shipping costs on non-defective returns. If the item is defective, we'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). Before returning an item, please contact us for an RA#.  

You may also simply Sign In to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

The following items are not eligible for returns:

  • Special orders

  • Strands, cut chain, pre-packed items that have been broken up, unsealed or otherwise altered, including wire and stringing materials that have been unspooled

  • Any item sold by the foot (yard) items 

  • Earring parts (Health reasons)

Returned items must be in resaleable condition, in original packaging and free from defects. For your protection, please ship your return items in a sturdy cardboard box or padded bubble mailer. We also recommend (optional) that you insure your package. We are not able to credit you for items that arrive damaged.

REFUNDS

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund quicker. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). If paid via Paypal, you should see the refund the same day we process it.

EXCHANGES

If you are returning an item that was on sale when purchased, and you are exchanging it for something in the same category, we will apply the same discount to that price. The buyer will be responsible for additional shipping.
